ENERGY STAR® Qualified 30" Energy Star Insert with 300 CFM and 4.5 Sones

The ESSEV Power Unit Insert brings the kitchen alive. The insert can mount into a custom crafted canopy or flush to the bottom of a cabinet, allowing proper ventilation to occur while blending into the decor of the kitchen and being energy efficient. The ESSEV Series is one of the first ENERGY STAR® Qualified Power Unit Inserts on the market in this category and now gives homeowners a new choice they did not previously have available to them.

The ESV Series features a powerful, quiet operating three speed motor with a normal operating speed of 140 CFM and a high speed of 300 CFM.

Is a liner required?

A. The Air King HL362RS Liner is recommended to be used with the ESSEV30 Insert, but it is not required.

can this unit be ductless?

A. Thank you for the question. The Air King ESSEV30 can be ductless with charcoal filters (will email over what you need). However, if you go ductless, it will lose the energy star rating. Thank you again for the question and please let me know if you would like help with your order.
