The exhaust fan control switch is ideal with its electronic delay timer that turns the fan and light on simultaneously while offering an electronic, automatic delay timer that allows the user to turn the light off while the fan continues to operate for an additional 20, 40, or 60 minutes before automatically turning off. The duration of operation time for the fan can easily be adjusted with the touch of the electronic button.

AKEDT2; can you turn on fan or light independent of each other? I saw somewhere that the AKEDT1 did.

A. The AKEDT2 turns the fan and light on together but it does have a delayed timer that will allow you to turn the light off and keep the fan running for a limited time.

Can the AKEDT2 control the two lights individually? I.E. can we control the nightlite alone using this swithch?

A. The Air King AKEDT2 will turn the light and fan on simultaneously but has a timer that the fan will stay on as the light turns off. the night light will not be operated by this switch individually from the fan.

We are purchasing Air King AKF80LS. Does this switch run the light and night light along with the fan and timer?

A. It is recommended to put the night light on a separate switch, otherwise it will come on simultaneously with the light. Fan & light come on with one switch, after switch is off the fan can stay on for a timed period.

Can I install the AKEDT2 in a two gang box and use a decora plate?

A. Yes, the Air King AKEDT2 can be installed in a standard ganged switch box and it will fit a decora switch plate cover.
