ak912 there is nothing wrong with this light housing. I just don't like that you can't hold the housing in place. it's difficult to hold in place and once installed you need metal screws (not included) to hold it from moving. basically a cheap set up compared to say a Halo light February 13, 2011
Exactly what you would expect Not much one can say about this product, it's a sheet metal box with a socket in it. :) The plastic trim piece looks nice and installation was as expected. I didn't get one with a fan so I can't comment on the noise or lack of. The wires were pre-stripped, so that was a nice touch. November 26, 2007

Can I use this as a table light to heat up an adhesive film on my customer's nails?

A. That is not recommended by the manufacturer. It could melt your customers' nails.

A. The Air King AK912 is not suggested to be installed directly above a shower or bathtub. There aren't any specific inclusions for distance from plastics.

Can this be installed over the tub inside the shower area?

A. The Air King AK912 is not rated to be installed directly over bath or shower enclosures. It is rated for damp locations, not necessarily wet locations.
